Listeners email AJ a letter about someone they feel needs to be checked and Mystical Tearz gets down and RAPS! This week, we got a letter about a Staten Island transplant who refuses to drop his Jersey Shores ways.

Dear Mystical:
I need you to check my boy Eddie. I met Eddie when I was in college at SDSUand he moved out here from New York. He is a really cool guy and we became friends right away. So what’s the problem? He’s been here for 6 years now and he hasn’t adapted to San Diego AT ALL. He fake tans crazy despite living in a city with a million beaches. And I’m not talking about tanning salons either I’m talking about the at-home kits! Of course the beef jerky brown skin goes perfectly with his overly pumped physique and his shiny button up shirts that are always a little to tight and a little too unbuttoned. Why do I care? Because we generally go out in a group and I’m tired of being with 5 San Diegans and one reject from Jersey Shore.
I’ve told him to tone it down a little. My other friends have begged him to quit jamming the fact that he’s from Staten Island into EVERY CONVERSATION. The girs he’s dated have politely tried to get him to become a Californian but he won’t budge. He’s still wearing way too much gold jewelry, STILL going in way to hard on the hair gel and still keeping his eyebrows WAY to groomed.
Mystical Tearz, I respect the need to remember where you come from but he takes it too far and it’s not working for him or our group of friends. So please…check this fool!
